Modernization Projects
Modernization work started early 2006 and is continuing at the following five schools: Belvedere Elementary, Cajon High, Serrano Middle, Oehl Elementary, and Thompson Elementary. Projects at Belvedere, Thompson, and Oehl will be completed by Spring 2007, while more extensive modernization projects at Cajon High School and Serrano Middle School are scheduled for completion later in the year.
The total budget for the modernization of these five schools is approximately $37 million. Cost savings due to modernization construction bids coming in under budget will be used to fund additional projects, such as Arrowview Middle School modernization.
